Delete your account
At a glance
- Account deletion is requested from inside the Oursi app: Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account.
- If you can't open the app, email us and we'll process the request for you.
- Deletion removes your private account data, releases your username, and clears local device data. See what's retained below.
Delete from the app
- Open Oursi and sign in if you aren't already.
- Go to Settings → Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account in the danger zone and confirm.
- You may be asked to sign in to Google again to confirm it's really you before the request is accepted.
Once accepted, deletion runs as a trusted background job — you're signed out immediately, and cleanup completes shortly after even if you close the app.

What gets deleted
Subject to the limits below, deletion removes or disables your Firebase identity mapping, releases your username claim, removes your private account/profile fields, removes active-installation and notification data, and clears local credentials and cached app data on your device.
We may retain limited information after deletion where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
